Loyalty Rewards Program Terms & Conditions

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Ugears Rewards Program Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern participation in the Ugears Rewards Program (“Program”) operated by Ugears Australia (“we”, “us”, “our”).

By creating an account, earning points, or redeeming rewards, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

Participation in the Program is also subject to our Website Terms & Conditions, Shipping Policy, and Privacy Policy.

 

2. Eligibility & Membership

2.1 The Program is available to individuals who hold a registered account on the Ugears Australia website.

2.2 Membership is free and limited to one account per individual.

2.3 Points and rewards are valid only on purchases made via the official Ugears Australia website.

2.4 Members must be logged into their account at the time of purchase to earn or redeem points.

2.5 We reserve the right to refuse, suspend, or terminate membership at our discretion if we reasonably believe an account is being used fraudulently, abusively, or in breach of these Terms.

 

3. Earning Points

3.1 Members earn 1 point per $1 AUD spent on eligible purchases.

3.2 Points are calculated on the final transaction value after discounts and promotional codes have been applied and include shipping fees paid.

3.3 If shipping is provided free of charge as part of a promotion or order threshold, no points will be awarded for the shipping component.

3.4 Points are earned on the purchase of gift vouchers unless otherwise specified by Ugears Australia.

3.5 Where a gift voucher is used as full or partial payment for an order, points will be earned only on the portion of the transaction paid using an eligible payment method (excluding the value covered by the gift voucher).

For example, if an order total is $100 AUD and a $60 AUD gift voucher is applied, points will be earned on the remaining $40 AUD paid.

3.6 Additional points may be earned through promotional activities including, but not limited to:

• Approved product reviews

• Birthday bonuses

• Referrals

• Social media engagement

 

3.7 Points will only be credited once an order has been completed and payment successfully processed.

3.8 We reserve the right to adjust point allocations, correct errors, or modify eligible earning activities at any time.

4. Redeeming Points

4.1 Points may be redeemed at checkout for discounts on eligible purchases.

4.2 Minimum redemption is 200 points ($5 AUD).

4.3 There is no maximum redemption limit per transaction, provided sufficient points are available.

4.4 There is no minimum spend required to redeem points.

4.5 Points:

• Cannot be exchanged for cash

• Cannot be transferred between accounts

• Cannot be sold or bartered

• Have no monetary value outside the Program

 

4.6 Points must be redeemed at the time of purchase and cannot be applied retrospectively to completed orders.

5. Free Shipping & Reward Redemptions

5.1 Free shipping eligibility is calculated based on the final order value after discounts, promotional codes, and reward point redemptions have been applied.

5.2 If the application of reward points reduces the order total below the advertised free shipping threshold, standard shipping rates may apply.

5.3 Points are awarded based on the final amount paid at checkout.

5.4 Reward points cannot be redeemed solely to cover shipping costs unless the order meets the minimum redemption requirements.

6. Returns, Refunds & Cancellations

6.1 If a purchase is returned, refunded, or cancelled, any points earned from that transaction will be deducted from the member’s account.

6.2 If points were redeemed as part of a transaction that is later refunded, those redeemed points will not be reinstated unless required by Australian Consumer Law.

6.3 We reserve the right to adjust point balances where transactions are reversed.

7. Expiry of Points

7.1 Points expire 12 months from the date they are earned, unless otherwise stated.

7.2 Expired points cannot be reinstated.

7.3 We are not responsible for notifying members prior to points expiring.

8. Account Misuse & Fraud

8.1 Points may be revoked, and accounts may be suspended or terminated, if we reasonably determine:

• Fraudulent activity

• Abuse of referral programs

• Creation of duplicate accounts

• Manipulation of reviews or social engagement systems

• Any conduct inconsistent with the intended operation of the Program

8.2 Our decision regarding misuse, abuse, or ineligibility is final.

9. Program Changes & Termination

9.1 We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Program at any time without prior notice.

9.2 Changes may include:

• Earning structures

• Redemption values

• Expiry periods

• Eligibility requirements

• Shipping interactions

 

9.3 If the Program is terminated, unused points may be forfeited.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Ugears Australia is not liable for:

• Loss of points due to system errors

• Technical malfunctions

• Unauthorised account access

• Delays in crediting points

• Program interruptions

 

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits rights under Australian Consumer Law.

11. General

11.1 Points remain the property of Ugears Australia at all times.

11.2 These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia.

11.3 Any disputes arising in connection with the Program will be handled in accordance with Australian law.
