This is a fabulous kit.
We used this kit during the recent remote learning and teaching programme for schools in Victoria, to support our Systems Engineering programme.
The gearing solutions in the project allowed plenty of opportunities for analysis, calculation and evaluation.
Having both minute and hour hands meant that the participants were able to utilise the mechanical advantage concept from engineering to determine the rate of rotation of a number of gear trains in the model.
