Description
Liberation of Snake Island is part of the exclusive Age of Bravery collection — a series of “mechanical stories” inspired by real events and created to honour the courage of the Ukrainian people throughout history and today.
This wooden model depicts a Bayraktar TB2 drone flying over Snake Island in the Black Sea — a key location captured by Russian forces on 24 February 2022 and liberated by Ukraine on 7 July. The model uses a simple pantograph-style mechanism that allows you to move the drone across a map of the island. It stands upright on small legs, making it a striking display piece for your home or office.
The Bayraktar TB2 is a Turkish-made unmanned aerial vehicle known for its endurance and precision. It played a major role in Ukraine’s defence, including operations on Snake Island, where it helped neutralise enemy equipment and inspired global support. This event also gave rise to the now-famous phrase: “Russian warship, go f** yourself”* — a symbol of Ukraine’s defiance.
In a show of solidarity, citizens of Ukraine, Poland, Lithuania and others raised millions to fund Bayraktar drones. Moved by this unity, the manufacturer donated several units free of charge to Ukraine.
This model kit includes a bonus Trident Fidget — a patriotic keychain representing the coat of arms of Ukraine. Like all models in the series, Liberation of Snake Island is made from laser-cut plywood and assembles without glue or tools. With just 39 parts, it takes about 30 minutes to build, even for beginners. Illustrated step-by-step instructions are included in 11 languages.
Whether you’re a hobbyist, history enthusiast, or supporter of Ukraine, this model offers a unique way to commemorate a powerful moment in modern history.
