Tram Line Model

Introducing the Tram Line Model, the first release in the Ugears Mechanical Town Series. This wooden build invites you to assemble each component by hand, understand how every mechanism works and create your own stories with the town’s characters. Made entirely from wood and designed with a playful gaming element, it’s ideal for hobbyists and collectors. Each piece features unique design and clever engineering, and assembly requires no glue or tools.

Once completed, the set retains full movement and remains both entertaining and educational - perfect for family projects. It includes 14 elements in a convenient scale for building and play.

The Tram Car features an overhead pantograph to switch into drive mode and a knob to open and close the doors. Wind it up and watch it travel along the rails, enter the depot and rotate 180 degrees on the turntable before returning down the line. Movement is powered purely by gears, wheels, cranks and a rubber-band engine.

The set also includes:

• Tram Stop with a clock, bench, stairs and ticket kiosk. The stairs are removable and can be placed anywhere on the platform.

• Tram Depot with a gate, turntable and a rail “tongue” that locks and releases the tram for each trip.

• Footbridge with arched pedestrian crossings that can also serve as a road underpass for cars.

• Straight and radius tracks with junctions.

• Street lamps for setting the scene.

• Town characters, including a Gentleman, Young Inventor, Stranger with a dog, Ice-cream Seller, Policeman on horseback, Factory Worker and News Boy - each ready to play a role in your story.

All parts are precision-cut and fit together using Ugears’ patented plywood joints, allowing you to assemble everything at home without glue or special tools.
